Request Kits

Who can request
Teachers, librarians, after-school programs, community organizations, and families. There is no minimum. A single kit for one child is a normal request.

What you get
Each kit contains seven items built around one filtration experiment, designed for children ages 6 to 11. You can request kits fully assembled and ready to hand out, or the materials in bulk to assemble yourself, which is usually better for large groups since it costs less to ship.

You can leave things out
If you already have reusable bottles, or the coloring book doesn't fit your program, uncheck those items in the request form. You only receive what you'll use.

Cost
Nothing, including shipping. Kits are funded by Starting Ripples Corp., a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

How long it takes
Most requests are filled within two to three weeks. If you have a date you're working toward, put it in the notes and we'll tell you honestly whether it's possible.

Large groups
For more than 30 kits, mention it in the notes. Larger requests are usually possible with more lead time, or in the bulk materials format.

What we'll ask you for
Your name and email, where the kits are going, how many you need, which items to include, and the ages of the children. Takes about two minutes.

Presenter Script · PDF
What to say alongside each slide, including the questions that open kids up and the answers they usually give. Written so someone presenting this for the first time can do it confidently.

Everything to have on hand before a session, with quantities for a group of 25.

Print and hand out

Take-home materials from the kit. Print as many as you need.

Water Hero Challenge Sheet · PDF
Five take-home activities where children track their own water use, ask their family about water traditions, and think through pollution in their area. One per child.

Water Hero Pledge Card · PDF
A card children sign committing to protect the water near them. Prints multiple to a page.

Coloring Pages · PDF
Selected pages showing how water shapes daily life in different parts of the world.

If you use these, tell us how it went.
We update these materials based on what works in real classrooms. A short email about what landed and what didn't is genuinely useful.
